Twice a year, I challenge a select group of designers to build a brand-new collection from scratch. This season, 6 brilliant designers from inside our community, were handed a knitting puzzle: design beautiful patterns based on 6" swatches (think skirts, vests, totes, shawls and more!).

From now until November, you get a backstage pass to watch these patterns come to life, row by row—from sketches to the "messy Middle" and the final beautiful photos.

You can ask the featured designers questions, vote on pattern names, and watch the creative chaos unfold live.

You have the "good" yarn stashed away and a hard drive full of patterns collecting digital dust.

But the second a confusing instruction or a dropped stitch hits, your project gets sentenced to a permanent time-out in the "Naughty Corner."

Here’s the truth: you don’t need more patterns. You just need a safety net so you never have to figure things out alone.

Imagine showing off your finished project to a room of knitters who actually understand the exact hours and hard work that went into it—rather than your husband giving you a polite eye-roll and immediately changing the subject. Inside the Circle, we speak your language (k2tog, tinking, and all).

We are right on the porch with you to breeze through the tricky rows, fix the wonky stitches, and celebrate your wins.

You sit down to knit…

…and instead of that quiet “uh-oh” moment alone and you open the Porch.

The Porch is our live, around-the-clock digital community clubhouse. Day or night, someone is always hanging out there—mid-row, mid-project, keeping you company, or helping you figure out a tricky instruction.

You ask a question.

You get an answer.

You keep going.

That’s the difference.

There is no waiting for a once-a-month local guild meeting, and no posting on a ghost-town forum hoping someone replies to your thread days later.

If you’re knitting, there is always a seat saved for you at our table.

This is where things get really fun (yes, we even play Runway Bingo and you can win prizes!).

Our six designers are bringing their raw ideas, initial sketches, and early concepts to the table.

They are tossing out half-formed, creative questions like, “What if we tried this layout?” or “What do you think of this color choice?”—and you are right there in the room for it.

You get to watch the messy middle, ask questions, see exactly how design decisions get made, and sometimes even shape the final outcome.

You’re not just passively following a pattern anymore… you are a real part of how it comes to life.

There is no pedestal and no pressure; just an exclusive, front-row seat to the creative process and a genuine place in it if you want it.
